Hitch Wagon

Step back in time to when the plantation owners would go in to town to sell their wares and to bring back all their supplies they needed to live on the farm. They drove large Hitchwagons filled with grain, fruit and vegetables and sometimes even picked up a stranger or two to give them a ride back from town.

Ironstone Ranch brings back that old time feeling with a ride on our restored Hitchwagon powered by two huge but majestic draft horses. These days the wagon has a smoother ride and a nicer sitting area so you can sit back and relax, take in the scenery and maybe pick an apple or two at one of our orchards.
